VOLCANIC ROCKS

Hot stones are usually made from basalt, a type of rock rich in iron, so they retain heat.

They are formed downwind of a volcano and smoothed over time by river currents. The stones are used in conjunction with massage strokes and can also be placed along the body to warm up deeper muscles.

Hot Stones are not recommended to anyone who is pregnant, has a loss of sensation, nervous system dysfunctions, psychotic conditions or a depressed immune system.

Skin conditions and any acute inflammation will also be irritated by the heat of the stones.

THE POWER OF FIRE

Increases blood circulation and detoxification

Relieves chronic pain; soothes cramps & spasms

Promotes deep relaxation and has a sedative effect

Great for people who tend to have cold feet or get chilly

MARBLE STONES

The thought of cryotherapy may not sound relaxing, but these marble stones have many benefits. The idea is to balance the body temperature by using the rocks to draw out excessive heat. Marble has a lot of calcium in it naturally, which give it a lower resting temperature.

Alleviates swelling and inflammation

Relieves chronic pain and eases menstrual symptoms

 Stimulates metabolism and increases stamina

Decreases high blood pressure

Cold Stones are not recommended to anyone who has hypersensitive skin conditions, open wounds,
